Personal Visits & Open Days
The best way to get a true flavour of Beeston’s unique atmosphere is to visit in person, so that you can experience the ‘feel’ of the place first-hand. We are delighted to welcome families at any point and would recommend that you allow plenty of time to make the most of your personal visit. This will enable you to meet the Headmaster, Fred de Falbe and his wife, Juliet, tour our beautiful site, see the school’s facilities, and above all meet our staff and pupils.
We host Open Days on Saturdays, which are a normal working day for the children and staff at Beeston but you are welcome to arrange a visit on some weekdays as well.
You and your family can also arrange to sample any number of school events that take place throughout the year, such as our whole-school productions in Michaelmas term, concerts throughout the year, Grandparents’ days, fetes, sports fixtures, primary school tournaments or exhibitions. You can also come and see us at The Royal Norfolk Show, The Aylsham Show or the Independent Schools’ Show in London.
Although we are currently unable to welcome visitors to the School, we are pleased to be able to offer bespoke virtual visits to prospective parents.
The virtual visit gives you the chance to find out more about Beeston and understand what makes it a special place to be. We will tailor the visit to your family: if your child has specific interests of the curriculum, or indeed extra-curricular e.g. sport or music, we will try to arrange for you to speak to the relevant head of department or the Deputy Head (Academic), Deputy Head (Pastoral) or Head of Pre-Prep so that you can ask more detailed questions about how their favourite subjects are delivered at Beeston. You will also have the chance to speak with the Headmaster to learn about the School’s ethos and values, and to our Boarding Houseparent to hear about school life and boarding, or to the Registrar to fully understand the admissions process and the options available to you.
You may also like to browse the resources and links on this website, which will help to give you a feel for what a Beeston education entails.
Our next Virtual visits will be on Saturday 13th June 2020.
Please ring the Registrar: Mrs Viv Farnell (+44 (0)1263 837324) to make an appointment or complete the enquiry form below to receive your personal login details.
