THE FRIENDS OF BEESTON

The Friends of Beeston (FoBs) supports school activities and encourages co-operation and good relations between parents (including future parents), guardians, pupils and the school.

Friends of Beeston (FoB) was founded in 2011 by a group of parents who wanted to organise social events for parents. FoB has since grown and become an established part of the school. It has proved to be a great way for parents, children and the school to work together.

Every year a new FoB committee is formed along with the appointment of new FoB representatives for each year group. The committee meets twice termly to plan social events and runs a regular coffee morning after drop-off on Thursday mornings or before collecting on exeats and end of terms. Everyone is welcome to attend the coffee mornings. If you would like to attend a FoB committee meeting you are most welcome, please contact your year rep for details

Although not strictly a fundraising group, FoB have recently helped to fund new play equipment for the school and will continue to do so on a small scale in the future. FoB’s main aims are based around social support rather than fund-raising and with the development of the Beeston Foundation will help support their fundraising activities in the future.
