Friends Of Beeston

The Friends of Beeston (FoB) supports school activities and encourages co-operation and good relations between parents (including future parents), guardians, pupils and the school.

FoB was founded in 2011 by a group of parents who wanted to organise social events for parents. FoB has since grown and become an established part of the school. It has proved to be a great way for parents, children and the school to work together. Every year a new FoB committee is formed along with the appointment of new FoB representatives for each year group. The committee plans a variety of social events and regular coffee mornings which everyone is welcome to. FoB’s main aims are based around social support but FoB have managed to raise considerable funds over the years for the school’s chosen charities as well as specific school projects, such as the playground swings.
