Fencing at Beeston

Two pupils from Beeston Hall had a busy half term taking part in the Norfolk Junior Foil Fencing Championships. The event took place in Loddon on Sunday 12^th where Johnny and Olivier performed well, making the last 8 out of a field of 18 before they were knocked out in the Quarter Finals - Johnny by the eventual winner while Olivier's opponent went out in the Semis.

For their first experience of a tournament both boys did extremely well, facing a number of opponents with a great deal of fencing tournament experience. Both boys are keen to build on their performance and are looking to enter the East Region and Prep Schools games. Well done boys and good luck in future tournaments.
