23/09: Year 6 Visit Ecotech Centre, Swaffham

On Friday the 18th of September nearly forty year 6 children went on a Science visit to the Ecotech centre in Swaffham.  The trip forms part of their studies into Engergy Resources.

Whilst there, the children made their own electricity using mini wind turbines, climbed 305 twisty steps to the top of the only wind turbine in the world open to the general public, saw the fastest wind turbine in the world (126 miles per hour), discovered how the centre conserves energy and met a man who is undertaking a ‘carbon neutral’ journey to Scandinavia.
