15/09: Laser Sports Fun for Boarders

Sunday 13th September

Weekends are busy days for boarders at Beeston and the first Sunday afternoon of the Autumn term was no exception.

Battle commenced on a fine afternoon as boys and girls from Years 4 to 8 took part in laser combat games.  Eight enthusiastic teams of pupils, in addition to several intrepid members of staff, donned camouflage jackets and took to the woods to set up bases.  Strategies varied, with some choosing to run and attack other teams while others chose to hide in bushes and wait for the enemy to come within range.

A very successful afternoon and huge fun for everyone – although the general consensus was that the staff team were fairly rubbish, receiving loads of hits!
